On January 5, 1970, leading a seven-man team deep in enemy territory, Miller faced overwhelming odds when a massive North Vietnamese Army force attacked. Severely outnumbered, Miller fought relentlessly for hours, single-handedly holding off 100 enemy soldiers while rescuing his wounded teammates.
